Yes! I’ve been saying this since grade school.
I always imagined a boat in the everglades and captain being wrecked because of one. Hindenburg meets Titatic kind of moment. Morbid yes, but when I was a kid the one thing I learned about Manatee’s was that boaters were the greatest threat to these majestic creatures.
But seriously, for about 15 years now my dad and I have been known to say this dramatically to each other.
