McCartney ended his friendship with Jackson after Jackson outbid him for the songs, and has expressed annoyance at having to pay to perform his own songs in public.

This is the world we live in. Our copyright laws are such that you can write a song and then have to pay to play your own creation. I know it is more complicated than this and the boys from Liverpool should have probably read their early contracts a little closer, but still it feels so wrong.
