Ripped - Mind Spiders
We played Gerard and Renate’s Birthday party at Beerland last night, and Mind Spiders closed out the night. I thought I was destined to never see them because I’ve been to several shows with them on the bill and kept missing their set for whatever reason.
Children, this is solid rock and roll. If you can see Mind Spiders play. Go see Mind Spiders play. But, for those of you seeing this on the Internet. Listen to this as loud as you can bear.
Girls Don’t Like Me - The Energy
We, OBN III’s, played the Temporary Instanity Fest in Houston on Saturday and it was outrageous. This is The Energy and they closed out the night. During our set two guys got kicked out for fighting, and it was like everyone just wanted to riot.
My favorite part of the above video is that you can see me motioning for help to find my glasses because they got knocked off my face. Twice in one week.
Somehow, they were found after the set in one piece. A punk rock miracle.
The Energy will be playing Beerland here in Austin on the 30th. Go see them!

Civilwarland - Royal Forest (Formerly Loxly)
They recorded the audio live with a four-track powered by a car battery. Some great images with the oncoming storm though I’m sure they were all praying they’d finish shooting before it hit.
No information available on how many takes it took them to get this filmed in one take.
