PS— If you’re wondering, “Where’s the beef?” the true answer is Your Mom, or Hopdoddy, or Sandy’s, or P Terry’s, or Dan’s, or Fran’s, or Phil’s Ice House.
“Where’s the Beef?” Was my first full sentence as a baby. The real humor didn’t kick in until 13 or so years later, when I stopped eating meat.
That said, for the only house-made veggie burgers worth a bite in Austin, I recommend those from 24 Diner and Hopdoddy.
Am I the only one who is bothered by the navigation path making no sense?
You can’t buy something in Now Bohemia to exit and put on your shirt outside of Allen Boots. Passing a pedestrian by the Mexican American Cultural Center? Which is also on the other side of the river from South Congress. Unlikely at best! Only to turn around be in the middle of downtown and THEN be back by Second Baptist of South Congress!?!

- Friday- Flesh Lights LP release at 29th Street Ballroom with The Creamers, Dead Space, Wiccans, and Bad Sports. I don’t know what else you could want in a show.
- Saturday- OBN III’s LP release at Mohawk opening for Ty Segall.
